Patients flocking to new Cannock GP surgery

A new GP surgery offering an extra 500 appointments a month has proven to be a real hit with patients in Cannock. Nearly all of the patients who have attended the Network Surgery since it opened its doors in September said they were either very satisfied or satisfied with the service they had received. The surgery, which was established following a successful £320,000 bid to the Prime Minister’s Challenge Fund, was designed to improve patient access to primary care by offering greater flexibility of appointments, including in the evenings and at weekends. The project is funded until 31st March 2016 and nearly 98% of patients said they would like to see the service continue after this date.
