Future plans for the local NHS are to be discussed when Cannock Chase GPs meet in public

New arrangements to bring NHS and social care organisations together in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent will be discussed when Cannock Chase GPs meet in public.

The Staffordshire Transformation Programme, which aims to improve health and care services for patients, is on the agenda for the Governing Body meeting of Cannock Chase Clinical Commissioning Group.

The Staffordshire Transformation Programme will bring organisations together to identify better joint working, priorities for improvement for the future and to help provide consistency in messages to promote self-care and greater prevention of ill-health.

The meeting is being held on Thursday 3 September, 2-4pm, at the Aquarius Ballroom and Banqueting Suite in Hednesford.

Other items on the agenda for the September meeting include an update on the CCG’s plans to improve communications and engagement.

Governing Body members will also receive updates on the CCG’s core work streams, including a report from the Quality and Safety team, performance and finance.

Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting in September and have the opportunity to ask questions relating to the agenda at the end.
