We are asking volunteers to record their own video saying happy birthday and thank you to the NHS. We will then collate all of the videos from residents, patients, key workers and anyone else wanting to join in, into one special video, dedicated to the NHS workers across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. The final collated video will premiere on the ‘big day’ and will represent the heartfelt appreciation being seen across the city and county.
Anyone wanting to get involved will simply need to film themselves in landscape (widescreen) and send the video in by the end of Sunday 27 June.
Please note, we need confirmation from you that you are happy for us to use your video as part of a collated video, which will be uploaded to the Together We’re Better and Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent CCGs’ YouTube channels and shared online across social media, websites and in bulletins.
If you send your videos to us, please include the following message to say that you are happy for the local NHS to use the video across all platforms:
“I confirm that I consent to the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent CCGs and Together We’re Better using this video as part of the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent ‘Happy Birthday NHS’ video, to be used across all platforms.”
– if you don’t include this message we won’t be able to use your video, so it’s really important that you let us know.
There are lots of ways you can send your videos in:
- By sending it via WhatsApp to 07860 735 538
- Through Twitter – you can send it to us at @StaffsCCGs or @TWBStaffsStoke
We also be doing lots of other things with staff. If you are a member of staff within healthcare locally, check out your organisation’s bulletins for news on how you too can show thanks to the people of Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
Other ways to join in the celebrations
Another way that you can join in with the celebrations is to hold a ‘Big Tea’ event.
To considering holding one yourselves visit:
Ready for a tea party like no other? The #NHSBigTea is coming on 5th July, the NHS’s birthday. It’s a national celebration of our amazing NHS staff – ordinary, yet extraordinary people who continue to go above and beyond for us and our loved ones.
Together, we’ll pour out our love, thanks, joy and reflection, and help raise funds locally to support our NHS champions, who need us more than ever.
Once you sign up, we’ll send you a fundraising kit to help you plan your Big Tea event – whether it’s in person or over a video chat – and raise as much money as possible for the people at the heart of the NHS.
